One of our sponsors, Argo Life & Legacy, have so far raised £1,040 (totalling £1,300 with Gift Aid) for the Heart of Kent Hospice Make a Will Fortnight which took place in February. The team at Argo generously donated client appointments and in return invited clients to make a voluntary donation to Heart of Kent Hospice. The Hospice has advised that currently this is enough to almost pay for the cost of a 24 hour stay on their Inpatient Unit for three patients. Argo have deci

Setting Lenham alight
The Wrinkly Roadshow will be setting Lenham alight on the 11th March! Kent Fire community team will be joining The Wrinkly Roadshow at Lenham to provide essential fire safety information. They will be carrying out a LIVE hot oil fire demonstration, including how NOT to extinguish a chip pan fire. Come along and ask the friendly fire team to arrange a free home safety visit, to give you peace of mind in your home.

The Wrinkly Roadshow brings advice and support to local village hubs and is working towards providing better services to the retired communities which they actually want and need. By taking the roadshows out of the towns and into the local communites, the businesses & organisations who exhibit are learning that isolated communites require something special to make a difference; lessons are being learned and experiences shared to tailor

The Warm Homes scheme is a partnership project between Kent County Council and district councils to support residents in Kent and Medway to save energy in their home.
